The Condo Authority of Ontario is a non-for-profit organization mandated under the Condo Act to enhance consumer protection and provide support for condo living. We do this by providing fully digital services and resources, education, and issue and dispute resolution for condo communities across the province.
The Condo Authority is governed by an independent board of directors. Elected directors are filled through a nominating committee process. Ministerial appointments are filled through a process administered by the Government of Ontario’s public appointments secretariat. The board is accountable for the performance of the Condo Authority to the Minister of Public and Business Service Delivery.
The CEO and Registrar is appointed by the board and leads approximately 60 staff in all aspects of its operations. Our senior management structure is designed to ensure CAO can deliver its mandated services effectively.
